Advice on subscribing for router service

Quick question for the tech savvy ones, anyone here actually using the built in router service regularly? I've got it on my '23 rebel and activated the trial when I first got the truck, but haven't touched it again since then so now I'm thinking of re-upping the subscription, mostly for road trips and when I'm out far with shaky cell coverage but I wanna from others, is it worth the cost? I really hate regretting purchases

It's such a lifesaver on road trips or in those frustrating dead zones, that external antenna really does wonders for keeping the signal steady. But honestly, it all boils down to how often you find yourself out of cell range or needing to juggle multiple devices online. Are you planning to use it for work, streaming your favorite shows, or just as a reliable backup for Wi-Fi?

It's a nice feature to have, and quite handy if you ask me, but why the hell is it behind a paywall? I hate modern cars for this very reason. The hardware is there and you need to pay to use it on top of paying an arm and a leg for it.
