Air lift 5000 for towing

I installed Air Lift 5000 air bags in the rear to help tow my 8,000 lb trailer, 4Wheel Drive recommended adding 2" spacers up front to level it out, but has anyone tried this setup? I am curious how it handles

those are great for keeping the rear from squatting! And 4WD suggested the 2" front spacers to level things out.
So yeah, it's a common setup, just make sure you fine tune that WDH once you're loaded up!

Make this upgade on my rebel a while ago and yes, everything that @NovemberRain says it's true. Yeah, the rear sqats, but not as much as before. If you're constantly towing things, this is must have mod

Adding 2in front spacers a common setup to level heavy loads like your 8k lb trailer. Theres a lot that reports improved handling and ride balance, tho ofc it can add stress to suspension components upfront. Definitely worth testing CAREFULLY and watching for any rubbing or alignment issues

Running Air Lift 5000s in the rear definitely helps with towing that kind of weight, and yeah adding 2" spacers up front is a pretty common way to level things out. The main thing you'll notice is a slightly stiffer ride and a different front-end feel , especially when unloaded, but most people say it tows flatter and more stable overall. Have you noticed much squat in the rear before the bags?
