My buddy used to roll around in a 2020 Ram Limited, but he just splurged on a brand new 2025 Ram Rebel. Awesome truck, right?
Well, he's run into a few head scratchers that he never had with his old Limited, and he's hoping someone here might have some insights. Here's what happened:
Engine fans go wild at speed, so he says when he's driving at higher speeds, the engine fans get super loud, almost like they're trying to take off.
He's checked the temps, and it's usually around 113-131°F where he is, which isn't crazy hot, and other cars don't seem to do this. Any ideas why his Rebel's fans are so enthusiastic?
The air conditioning is pretty underwhelming. He has to crank the knob up to 4 bars just to get it cool, and even then, it's not as cold as his old Limited was. Is the AC system just weaker on the Rebels, or could something be off?
Sometimes while driving, he'll hear this weird, short burst of wind noise. He describes it like a "shutter opening and closing." It's brief, but noticeable.
Any thoughts on what that could be? Is there some kind of active aero or vent that might be causing it?
Has anyone else with a new Rebel (or even a similar Ram) experienced these issues? Any tips or common fixes would be hugely appreciated
